K&N cold air intakes are perfect for vehicles that drive in warmer climates where the weather can reach into the 100s in the summer time. When temperatures are this hot, the engine cannot perform as well because it is not sucking in any cool air. Adding a K&N cold air intake will bring the engine some cooler air since it is located at the bottom of the front bumper. This location is where the coolest air can be found while driving.
