Spec Clutch and Flywheel

Combing the Spec clutch and flywheel will allow your clutch and driveline to perform at its peak. Both the Spec clutch kit and Spec flywheel are designed to work the best when used in conjunction with each other since so much testing is done between the two. Using a different automotive flywheel might cause problems and may not be able to handle the strength of the Spec clutch kit.

If you are looking for something lighter than your current flywheel, then the Spec lightweight flywheel will be your best option. It weighs much less than your factory one and will not need as much power to spin it. The lightweight design will allow your vehicle to rev and accelerate much faster than before. The Spec clutches and flywheels work great in both high performance vehicles and vehicles with minor performance upgrades.

For strength and no reduced weight, the Spec steel flywheel will dictate how well your clutch performs. Using a resurfaced flywheel is not worth the time and money when you can upgrade to a Spec flywheel which will make your entire drivetrain that much better. This performance flywheel goes great with any of the high performance clutch kit that will handle the torque your vehicle is putting down.

It will always be more beneficial to use Spec clutches and flywheels together so you know you are getting the best for your vehicle. Pairing a clutch and flywheel from different companies will not always work because they might not match up. Spec clutches are designed to work with Spec flywheels for optimal performance.
